About us?

Our Mission

“Our mission is to promote different languages and cultures throughout Dublin, Ireland and beyond, and to make the learning process interactive, fun and enjoyable.”

Our Courses and Locations

Olé School of Languages was founded in Dublin in September 2012 to promote languages within local communities in the Dublin area. We run adult language courses and children after-school language courses and language mid term camps throughout Dublin in areas such as Mount Merrion, South Dublin, Castleknock, Dublin 15/ West Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, Foxrock, Dublin 18 and Sutton, Dublin North/Fingal.

Our teaching method and philosophy is consistent for all languages taught at the school – promoting a fun and productive learning environment.

Our Students, our focus

Our course programmes are designed specifically to reflect the needs and interests of our students. The objectives of each course are defined, and we communicate to all students the strategy to ensure that all students achieve their language learning goals.

Our Story

We have been providing language courses in Dublin since 2012. Cristina, the general manager and founder at Olé School of Languages, has ten years’ teaching experience, and enjoys providing guidance and advice to other teachers at the school. Our teachers have, between them, more than 30 years teaching experience allowing for great discussion and creative ideas to be formed, always with the focus on a better language learning environment for our students.

Dear Cristina, Asia absolutely loved the camp, she came back every day with a big smile and was happy to go in every morning and she kept telling us words in Spanish. She even said the camp was... better than school!Asia won't attend the Easter camp because we will travel to Italy to visit our families, however I will definitely enrol her again in the future.Many thanks and well done to you and the staff.read more

We absolutely love the Spanish courses at Ole School of Languages. We have 3 daughters ages 8,6 and 5. They attend the after school program once a week, participate in a weekly online Spanish course... and attend the Halloween/Easter/Summer camps. The teachers are creative (games and crafts!) and patient in teaching the children while also challenging them to speak as much as possible. My girls have definitely improved over the past year and can confidently understand Spanish and can speak more each week. Highly recommend!read more

I've sent my two daughters here twice this year for mid term /Easter Camps... My kids are 5 & 8... The school and the staff are really nice, supportive and kind... Being half Italian, the girls have... often struggled to embrace their Italian side (language and identity). But after their time here, they have come home with an amazingly more positive mindset toward their culture and language... From singing Italian songs at home and practicing vocab everyday and deliberately trying to say someeto Nonna and Nonno... It really has given them a great starting foundation where it will only develop further this summer... I will be sending them continuously for the next few years for mid terms etc... Can't recommend it enough...read more

I took the Post Beginner to Pre intermediate 2 class in Spanish and will be starting the Pre Intermediate 3 in the next semester. I absolutely love the classes they've really allowed me to progress... in my Spanish. I keep coming back because the experience is 10/10read more

Started the post beginner course in Spanish in the January lockdown and absolutely loved it, I continued and completed the next course! I wasn't sure if the classes would be as engaging on zoom and I... couldn't have been more wrong!The classes were so fun, constructive and I feel so much more confident speaking Spanish. I have completed the beginners and post beginners Spanish courses here. Andrea is a great teacher, she is very enthusiastic and encouraging. She ensures that everyone participates in the class and... spends an equal amount of time with all students. There is a good balance of grammar, vocab and conversation. Class numbers are small so there is great rapport between the students and Andrea. It’s also fun. I can highly recommend Ole Sol.read more

I just came across this school by accident. I sent in a query and got an immediate reply. I suddenly found myself in an online class, and although I was the ‘Johnny come lately’, I immediately felt... at home. Our teacher is excellent, our group are committed and great fun. I have been learning Spanish (beginners) via Zoom, with the school and specifically Cristina, since the Covid-19 lockdown. Am really enjoying the class composition, the teaching style and the pace.... Cristina knows how to motivate us to learn (am not easily motivated!) yet she also makes it a comfortable and relaxed environment too in which to make mistakes so it's a win-win for me. I had some doubts about learning via Zoom (missing classroom interaction) but now I enjoy it and have just signed up for another 12 weeks course. So in my eyes that is full endorsement. On the admin side Jonathan has always been efficient and very quick to respond to emails etc (as is Cristina I should add). Very happy I discovered this school. Peadar.read more

Five stars for the Olé school for sure. We have been learning online during 2020 and it has worked out brilliantly. Cristina knows exactly the pace to set for our Spanish Beginners class and... encourages us to interact in a very relaxed atmosphere. My daughter took the online Easter "camp" and also weekly online classes over the summer, and she loved the classes. The teacher was incredibly organised, patient and dynamic, and succeeded in... motivating and enthusing the students, getting them to participate fully and have great fun. The curriculum is also extremely well thought-through. Our daughter even enjoyed doing the creative homework excercises, especially the one that involved making a video of baking. One star for the course I did back in 2017. Recently looked into doing another Italian course and emailed them with the results of my language test. 5 emails since January and still no response.... Perhaps because I asked them about the teaching background and experience of their teachers.read more

I enrolled an Intermediate course to improve Italian before moving to Rome. The teacher was so nice, a native speaker, very professional and so enthusiastic at teaching! The group was small enough so... we had plenty of time to practise the language in class. The atmosphere in the school was great and the Olé SOL team was there to help me with my booking at first and throughout the course to send me notes if I miss a class. I could not recommend the school enough! With the course I gained confidence and fluency with my Italian. Bravo Ole SOL!!!read more

positive review  My son 8 years old join the summer camp online for Spanish for 3 weeks and it was great! it was very interactive and dynamic. I was surprised how well he went across the whole online new ways of teaching and stayed focus and participative. Highly recommended courses even for the little ones!

We thoroughly enjoyed the English summer camp in Portobello, Dublin. Ida's language skills developed a great deal and she made fantastic friends with kids from interesting countries. Thank you Antonietta, Cristina and Jonathan (alphabetically:-))!

positive review  My 13 year old son has had Spanish lessons with Olé Sol for 2-3 years. Very professional and flexible approach with top quality teachers. I would recommend this to anyone interested in developing a love for not only the language but the culture and way of life of Spanish speaking countries.
