Cristina (Manager/ Spanish Teacher)

Language: Spanish & English
Hometown / Country: Cristina comes from Córdoba, in Andalusia, historically one of Europe’s most important cities in Spain.
Position: Founder, General Manager, and Spanish & English Teacher at Olé School of Languages.
Qualification: Cristina is a qualified Primary school teacher by the University of Córdoba. She studied for one year in Florence (Italy) as part of her Degree. She also holds the qualifications to teach Spanish (ELE) and English (CELTA) as a foreign language to children and adults.
Experience: Cristina has twelve years’ experience in primary, secondary and adult education in Ireland, as well as in other European countries. She currently holds a teaching position in the Teresian School, in South Dublin, where she has been teaching Spanish since 2014.
Fun Fact: Cristina is passionate about languages and especially loves travelling and conversing in other languages with the natives. She loves Dublin city and, despite the weather, her main mode of transport is her bike.

Jonathan (Manager)

Hometown / Country: Dublin, Ireland
Position: Co-Founder/ Customer Service/ Business Development
Qualification: BA in Economics and French. Masters in Sustainable Development. Qualified Accountant (ACCA).
Experience: Jonathan has many year’s experience working in large multinational companies and has been involved in a number of startups.
Fun Fact: Jonathan likes running in his free time and he has completed a number of marathons in different countries. He enjoys walking the Camino (St Jame’s Way) in Summer in Spain.

Jimena (Spanish & French Teacher)

Language: Spanish and French
Hometown / Country: Jimena is from Burgos, a little but beautiful city in the North of Spain and known for being one of the stops of The Camino
Position: Spanish and French Teacher
Qualification: Jimena graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Romance languages at the University of Salamanca. After discovering that teaching was her passion while teaching in France for several years. Jimena achieved her Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish language and literature at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Experience: Jimena has 7 years experience teaching where she developed teaching both French and Spanish to all levels, from children to adults. Since she finished her studies, she has been working in different organizations such as Academia Adelante in Madrid or the Spanish NGO Accem in Burgos.
Fun Fact: Jimena loves languages, knowing different cultures and people and reading. She always tries to bring to the class what she gets from all that, so the fact of learning becomes a cultural discovery. She also loves nature and she takes any opportunity to leave the city and go hiking and camping all around Ireland.

Jessica (Italian Teacher)

Language: Italian
Hometown / Country: Jessica lives in Milano, a fashion city full of art and life in the north of Italy, but her roots are a mix of Tuscan and Venetian.
Position: Italian Teacher
Qualification: Jessica graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the Università degli Studi di Milano. She is specialized in philology and medieval literature. She is teacher but also a translator of historical novels.
Experience: Jessica has been teaching Italian as foreign language for 20 years. She works at the high school as literature teacher and also as Italian language teacher for students of all levels from absolute beginner to advanced, in both groups and one to one situations, to students with very different motives, ranging from personal interests and travel to professional or higher education needs.
Fun Fact: Despite her roots, instead of coffee, she has a real passion for tea. She owns more than 50 different types and she has tried more than 100. But she can’t start her day without a strong Irish blend, her favourite one!

Juana Mari (Spanish Teacher)

Languages: Spanish and English
Hometown / Country: Juana Mari comes from Cáceres, in Extremadura. This city is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Position: Spanish Teacher at Olé School of Languages
Qualification: Juana Mari is a qualified Preschool teacher by the University of Extremadura. She studied her thrid year of Bachelor’s Degree in Kristiansand (Norway). She also got a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish and English as Second or Foreign Languages by the University of Alicante.
Experience: Juana Mari has experience with teaching Spanish in different countries as Ireland, Spain and Czech Republic. In addition, she is an examiner of DELE b1/b2 and has prepared students for this types of examinations.
Fun Fact: Juana Mari loves travelling and discovering other cultures. She is passionate about teaching languages and she likes to make her students enjoy during their learning process.

David (Spanish and German Teacher)

Language: Spanish & German
Hometown / Country: David was born in Barcelona, a big bustling city in the Northeast of Spain.
Position: Spanish and German Teacher
Qualifications: David graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities at the University Pompeu Fabra. Having always been passionate about languages, and after discovering that teaching was his second passion, David achieved his Master’s degree in Teaching, specialised in Spanish language and literature at the UDIMA. 

Experience: David has 5 years’ teaching experience using his multilingual background to help people of different nationalities understand and better learn their target language, be it Spanish, German, or English. He has taught all levels, from children to adults. 

Fun Fact: David loves not only teaching and learning languages, but also understanding and learning about culture. He is keen on reading and watching TV shows.

Isabel (Spanish Teacher)

Language: Spanish
Hometown / Country: Isabel is from Granada, a city located in the south of Spain in the Andalucía’s region
Position: Spanish Teacher
Qualification: Isabel graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology at the University of Granada. She also studied a year abroad in the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz as an Erasmus student where she researched about SLA (second language acquisition).
Experience: Isabel has more than five years of experience teaching Spanish and English to kids, teenagers (Junior and Leaving Cert) and adults in different countries. She loves to make their lessons fun and interactive; games are her way to go.
Fun Fact: She loves walking the Dun Laoghaire pier and getting a Teddy’s ice-cream in any weather condition.

Daniel (Spanish Teacher)

Language: Spanish
Hometown / Country: Daniel is a native Spanish speaker/ teacher from Sevilla, a large city in Andalusia, Spain.
Position: Spanish Teacher
Qualification: Daniel graduated in Hispanic Philology and with a master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language and has a masters in Secondary education.
Experience: Daniel has several years of experience teaching Spanish to students in the U.S., in Spain and online, and has been working with Olé School of Languages since 2021. Daniel loves learning and teaching languages, and enjoys teaching students of all ages; always making her lessons as interactive and communicative as possible.
Fun Fact: Daniel loves travelling and incorporating cultural topics in his classes.

Claire (French Teacher)

Language: French
Hometown / Country: Claire is a native speaker from Nancy, France.
Position: French Teacher
Qualification: Claire graduated with a Bachelor´s degree in Performing Arts and Film Studies, and a Master´s degree in Film Studies.
Experience: Claire has a diverse background in education teaching kids, teenagers (junior and leaving certificate) and adults, and has been working with Olé School of Languages since 2021.
Fun Fact: Claire loves travelling, painting and watching films.
